Topgolf’s first Oregon location expected to attract 450,000 visitors annually
PORTLAND – Aug. 4, 2016 – Global sports entertainment leader Topgolf® will open the doors to its first Oregon location in Hillsboro on Friday at 9 a.m., following tonight’s private VIP grand opening party. The new 65,000-square-foot venue is the company’s 28 th location worldwide.
The private VIP grand opening party will feature music and entertainment, prize giveaways, complimentary food, celebrity appearances and, of course, Topgolf game play. Celebrity appearances include: Portland Trailblazers C.J. McCollum and Assistant Coach David Vanterpool, stars from the hit TLC show Little People Big World including Matt, Amy, Zach and Tori Roloff, plus several players from the Portland Timbers. A Red Bull DJ will be leading a dance party on the rooftop terrace. Invited guests include Topgolf Hillsboro’s monthly members, community leaders and social media contest winners.
Topgolf is the only entertainment experience of its kind, offering fun golfing games for all ages and skill levels, paired with an outstanding chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, big screen TVs and music in climate-controlled suites for year-round comfort. The Hillsboro venue will employ 500 associates. Topgolf’s economic output in the community is also remarkable, at a projection of $264.5 million over a 10-year period.
